Christmas , as I recall vividly was all about wearing new clothes, distributing goodies and attending church services followed by an extravagant, sumptuous meal with all the cousins, uncles and aunts. To this day, I remember those magical moments down to the smells and feels, heartwarming indeed. 

As believers we know, there's more to it than these. Christmas is about the most perfect Gift, the birth of our Lord Jesus and Christmas season is about preparing our hearts to celebrate the wonderful and miraculous coming of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Let this Christmas season be unique, let's focus on nurturing our family, our children and grandchildren in the word of the Lord, and focus our hearts and minds on the true meaning of the Season.
