First of all, if they didnât swim up to you to check you out, it means you were the one who deliberately approached them and thatâs illegal. Itâs illegal if you are on a boat or any sort of watercraft. Itâs just ridiculously stupid if you are swimming.
But whatâs worse is what may happen if whales get too used to humans. If a whale approaches a boat and gets cuddles from the people on it, it might keep seeking out vessels and approaching them, to get more of that attention. That just makes it a lot easier for them to get killed in ship collisions or end up tangled in fishing nets.
DONâT TOUCH WHALES.
Whales may touch you though. If you are swimming and they approach you, thereâs really nothing you can do.

Some people always get super salty when they come asking for help with a âghost hauntingâ and the first thing i ask them is âhave you checked your living space for carbon monoxideâ.
Like maybe you thought coming to a witch youâd get some neat spell or some shit, but a big part of being a (good) witch is also looking at what is in front of you and ruling out some basic things first, and a lot of the things people describe to me when it comes to ghost hauntings also sound a helluva lot like carbon monoxide poisoning. So like sorry for giving a shit over whether or not youâre actually about to die or not I guess *shrug emoji*
Like I know we joke about my house being haunted (and maybe it is) but when the lights flicker in my house I donât do a cleansing spell, I call an electrician. You gotta do the physical world things first before you jump to the metaphysical. Thatâs just how it is.
This makes me think of Terry Pratchettâs witches, and about how Magrat would try to explain the concept of germs to disbelieving villagers who kept getting sick from well-water. If Iâm remembering correctly, Granny Weatherwax just straight up told them there were invisible demons in the water that could only be banished by boiling.
Clearly this means you need to tell these people that negative energy lingers in dead batteries, so they need to check all the batteries in their house - especially the co2 detector.
