Gingerbread Axolotl (2025) & Festive Fun Axolotl (2023?) :
BaB’s holiday bears are always mid as hell imo, maybe i’m just not the biggest xmas fan but both of these are garish, in-your-face christmas vomit. the white one gets some bonus points for autism creature customs though.
Love You Alotl Axolotl (2024)
another incredibly mid holiday bear, these will never be my favorite anything. this one is at least axolotl colored, and they didn’t feel the need to put big hearts all over it (it’s just sparkly!) so it’s a tier higher than the xmas ones, but only by a bit.
simple, cute, just leaves something to be desired. i don’t know what! i just feel like they could have done more with this one. i don’t hate it though, it’s just a little underwhelming.
TIE-DYE AXOLOTL (UK) (2023)
i have mixed feelings about most tie dye bears but this one is quite cute. i think it’s a very flattering color scheme for th soft round design of the axo, and i like that they kept the accents pink instead of trying to make everything tie dye or multicolored.
it’s fine, just blue. this one is tied with the mint axolotl (not pictured) for me. it’s a nice blue, just nothing extraordinary.
I really like this one. th fur actually has a texture to it a bit, but it’s not hard seams just fur sculpting. yellow is my favorite color and the pineapple scent that came out with this one is also delicious so i may be a little biased, but this one is a delight to look at.
GREY AXOLOTL / LAVENDER AXOLOTL
these are another monochromatic one where they just changed the base color, but i just think these look a lot better than the blue/mint axos. the lavender is really beautiful and the grey is very tasteful. lavender places a little bit higher for me, but they’re both really aesthetically pleasing so there together.
come on. look at that face. it’s an axolotl with paws, like are you kidding??? it’s incredibly cute, very popular, and for good reason.
SO CUTE!!!! th glow in the dark is a really cute gimmick in my opinion even though the fur ends up being a little textured. the pile isn’t as high as the og axo, it’s more like the i love you alotl, but the glowing makes up for it. it’s a really beautiful green, and i just love this one so so much
