Dating a Shelby was hard, maybe even more so because it was Arthur. He’d come home off his head on Tokyo or he’d blackout by the door from the harsh liquors he delved into all night. Tonight he just stayed in his office, I watched him smoke a hefty cigar; trying to focus myself on the books. Under the seeping darkness, the streetlights gleamed brightly. Highlighting my face with a white glow. I hadn’t gone unnoticed by Arthur, as I propped my self up on my desk. Legs crossed. Toes pointed. Dress slowly rising up my leg.
“Y/n” the deep brummie accent lingered through the air. Not a few seconds later could you hear the light taps of heels across the rotting wooden floorboards.
“Yes, Arthur?” I asked, placing my hands on my hips to carefully eventuate my body.
“What the fook are those.” He spoke, my eyes following his. Seeing my new shoes a little smirk appeared on my face.
“You don’t like them?” I questioned with a slight pout. “They’re so pretty ‘nd sparkly!” I boasted with a small giggle. My heels very similar to those of a show girls.
"I don't care how sparkly they are, just get rid of them" he stated, followed by a big huff from me. Kicking them to the edge of his desk, not fully aware of his little game he began to play...
