wade loves tight, feminine clothing because it’s the closest he gets to feeling pretty. he used to be real pretty, so pretty it was even kinda boring. he had a few scars back then. people like a scar or two. it made him seem more interesting.
but now he’s too interesting. he’s only good for one thing: bragging rights. he is but a beast to be slain, a mountain to climb. a conquest.
he’ll cover up in skin-tight clothing that hides his scars but proves he was, in fact, a hottie at one time. a little leather and lace can do a lot for a guy. he can dance and flirt and drink and touch without getting undressed more than absolutely necessary. he’s used to sweating his nuts off in the deadpool suit, he can handle a little club fever.
he recognizes that he is only here for people’s entertainment. that’s all he’s ever been good for. you just love to watch him suffer. he can wallow in his misery or he can get his fuck on. people are gonna talk either way. may as well make the story they’re going to tell their friends an interesting one.
I think my problem is that on paper wade being redeemed by his desire to pattern himself after spider-man and become a moral person is awesome and interesting character writing. that being said that shit just doesn't matter to me shoot shoot kill kill bang bang etc.
