I'm so sorry Dick Grayson but the period of time where Bruce was dead is literally peak Dick Grayson era. Dad is dead. One brother threw himself off a cliff to avoid going to therapy. The other one is having a genuine mental breakdown in europe and blowing up warehouses. There's a body double of his dead dad running around threatening to destroy the carefully constructed house of lies. He has to look after a murderous ten year old with a sword. People keep asking him about how to run a multibillion dollar company. He's trying his best even though this is literally the thing he's been most afraid of since he was ten years old. He's not good enough and everyone can tell. On top of all that he's getting sensory issues from having to wear a cape.

Man having every single bad day a person can possibly have happen to him simultaneously.

Inspiration often comes from the need to make Dick Grayson go through the nine circles of hell, lol. But really, it's mostly about choosing references and getting out of my comfort zone. In all my work, I try to try something new, starting with colors. Rendering is already routine. The concept is harder, cause im trying to send some meaning through my art, but it something it doesn't happen so it's just a cute art for me, but nothing more

there's a lot of struggle that im not showing, so my main advice is get out of comfort zone and analyze yours/others work a lot

woah ! youre fast ! i see a lot of cool references to classic art when i look at yours, one that stood (is that spelled right? it looks like stool to me but im a little tired) out to me though was the one of tim standing in front of nw, its Man in a Bowler Hat by René Margritte right? i vaguely remember trying to do something similar but with a robin (bird not child) in front of either bruce or dicks face so it stuck with me.

your rendering is my favourite part i think. or would it be called art style ? its just so painting-like and thats exactly what i want mine to be like !!! i really like painted/sketched/a bit messy but in the human kind of way type of art so ive been trying to emulate it (this is admittedly partially bcus i hate line art with a passion).
