a good girl's guide to murder has the best main character introduction of any book ever. first thing we see is pip being explicitly told not to bring the singh family into her project. next thing we see is pip standing at ravi's door with muffins. what a scene. 10/10, no notes, perfect way to introduce a character.

it physically hurts me when most fics about my rarepair only have the ship as a background ship and only have them together because everyone else is off and shipped elsewhere

spoilers for the bones tv show: just finished bones and wow. perfect finale 11/10. it brought up and delt with old issues in a way that brought such perfect catharsis. but it also had its own unique situation (brennans brain) that brought intrigue.

like it brought up booths past and zach and it was a multiple intern episode (ofc). also there were so many small references at the very end (e.g. dolphin necklace and nigel murray, sweets book, the drawing by parker)

I was so scared it was going to end with Bones losing her abilities and "realising that being a wife and mother is what really matters" but I should have had faith. (Note this is not an attack on anyone who feels this way but would have been hypocritical for the show given a couple episodes earlier bones talked about how forensic anthropology is what makes her breathe)

I do think it was a great final concept having Brennan lose her processing ability and I'm glad it was done so well.

also I think that having the jeffersonian destroyed gave a good sense of ending for the series without having them all stop working together
