Btw the lack of fics dealing with guy gardners disability is actually insane to me. Canon disabled character where the disability impacts their entire character, but who in canon is rarely treated with any respect... and noone wants to write self indulgent hurt/comfort for Lino?🥲

pulled the individual bricks from mecabricks and then imported them to blender and build each building by hand! and for the minifigs i hand UVed these in photoshop/illustrator and rendered everything in blender!

I'm still not back into reading comics #sowwy, but I've been thinking about priest Jtodd again, and how in that universe he got involved in the very hypermasculine sphere of street-level violence, just as much as our Jtodd did in her vigilantism sphere. And how priesthood is how he escaped from that. And how a priest almost isnt a man, how it degenders you, makes space for some kind of androgyny. What I'm saying is Can We Get Her Out Of There. What I'm saying is what about a fic where our (post-transition) Jay accidentally multiverse-chaos-style ends up with priest Jtodd, who gets defrocked bc of something (? Or maybe just removed from the church for a while through Jay), and Jtodd freaks out bc now he has to be A Man again, and this was his one escape from that. And basically our Jay thinks Jesus Christ I need to save me, I mean her. And they go on a forcefemme roadtrip together. (Forcefemme used very liberally here. More like approaching a startled horse femme.)

i do believe jason is shy i do believe hes an agoraphobe i believe he has social anxiety i just think it doesnt present in the way society thinks social anxiety typically presents itself (read: not in a white person) and as such no one thought to tell baby jason that he was having anxiety attacks and now as an adult with extremely maladaptive coping mechanisms and a warped view of his mental state frequently he is mistaking himself as an angry unfriendly person when what is happening is his brain is running on TIGER ATTACK IMMINENT software in the bodega where there are no tigers just someone standing too close in line for cigarettes

i think in terms of queerness in their writing, kevin smith and judd winick both have their heart in the right place. but the main difference is that when judd winick is off the mark he makes green lantern hate crime (story about the affects of homophobia but focused more on the straight man’s reaction) and when kevin smith misses the mark he makes chasing amy (watching it feels like a hate crime)
