i still can't process that i was driving by captain kirk himself!!! when i realized it was him as we pulled up beside him, i just stared and couldn't even say anything out of shock. i wish i could have said something funny but he was on the phone and looked back at me (honestly he looked a little annoyed lol). we made an attempt to sort of follow him but he was in his porsche and was able to lose us pretty fast!! (it was also a busy street so let me emphasize this was not as creepy as it sounds)

I used to work at the National Gallery in London. Old men came up to me fairly regularly to complain about the young girls (and sometimes the tourists of a particular ethnicity or nationality) taking selfies with the art. I’d smile and say, it’s an interesting diptych because so many of the most celebrated works in the Gallery are portraits– the ‘selfies’ of yesteryear– and indeed, Van Eyck’s /Portrait of a Man/ (1433) may be the earliest known panel self portrait, ant the very least in western art history, so framing oneself in that context, comparing the methods of portraiture over a span of a little under 600 years, is at its heart a commentary on the human desire to remember and be remembered, to catalog one’s existence and give it authenticity.

Pretty sure those aren’t rabbit tracks. I think this was a bird shuffling through the snow, and then it made wing impressions when it took off. If it was an eagle, or something, that got a rabbit, there would be more disturbed snow.

DEFINITELY not rabbit tracks. The tracks wouldn’t be linked since rabbits hop not walk and the tracks of the fore and hind legs are quite distinctive. This is what rabbit tracks in snow look like
