today is the ten year anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting. a full decade ago, i lost a friend and a coworker. i was lucky. i had friends that lost several people. today, please remember and fight for all those that have died to live the life they should have been free to. i'll always remember you, Cory.
Stop playing games, stop watching movies, stop following football matches, stop listening to music... Leave them alone, even if only for a minute. Sit with yourselves for a minute and think carefully: Do we deserve to die? Do we deserve to live this life? If the answer is no, then do something for us. A man named Aboud has asked me to spread his campaign in hopes of reaching more eyes and ears that can understand what he and his family have been through. He is a young man of only 23, but has been suffering tremendously through famine, illness, pain, and death.
He has been attempting to support his mother and siblings through this but he himself is growing thinner and thinner and it is heartbreaking to see. Can you imagine his life - what it would be like to live his every day? Does it scare you, does it upset you?
I have a little over 2000 followers. If each of my followers were to donate $5, he would be over $10,000 toward his goal. It seems like we can do nothing, but that's only what is convenient to let us believe. Every bit of human compassion counts, no matter how small.

Last Song: Wivenhoe Bells (II) by The Cleaners from Venus. I had this shuffle into my playlist a couple sundays ago while at work and its been in my head ever since. Idk I enjoy how warm sounding it is.
Favorite Color: I am a color head I really do like my colors.. But I've always liked anything blueish green for the longest time. Reds are growing on me tho.
Last Book I Read: There's this really old book on stained glass that I picked up a year ago that I like to reread just cause the process is so interesting to me.
Last Movie: I watched Knives Out a couple of days ago, and out of the two, I kinda adore Glass Onion a bit more
Sweet, savory, or spicy: Sometimes it's a toss up between all 3, but I love spicy foods a *bit* more over the other two, especially when it's mixed with something a little acidic.

Hello,I am Ahmed Al-Dani
A 14-year-old Palestinian boy living in Gaza, where I was born amid the pain of ongoing conflicts.
In 2008, while my mother was pregnant with me, a phosphorous bomb fell near our home, and my mother inhaled the toxic gas.
This exposure affected my health, causing genetic deformities that impacted the growth of my teeth and hair. I grew up with the pain of a different appearance and daily struggles.
My family has tried to support me with all their strength, but all doors are closed. Doctors recommended dental implants as a solution to ease my suffering, but each implant costs about a thousand dollars, an amount far beyond our means, especially since we live in constant instability.
Over the past ten months, my family has been displaced more than seven times. We currently live in the southern part of Gaza, with no source of income, relying only on a few savings that were meant for my treatment. But life is challenging; my grandmother, who is over seventy, suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes and needs constant care.
My uncle is also completely paralyzed, living in a wheelchair, and requires special medical care.
Today, I am sharing my story with a heart longing for your help and support. The only treatment I need is outside of Gaza, where the care I lack here is available.
The travel cost for one person is $5,000, and my family needs $50,000 to cover the expenses of leaving the sector and arranging my medical treatment. This amount may seem large, but it represents my hope and chance to live a normal, healthy life.
