I did really mean a tunnel web spider, and if one more person messages me “ACTUALLY you meant a FUNNEL WEB” I’m going to scream

Tunnel web spiders (Porrhothele antipodiana) are found across NZ and are harmless close relatives of the funnel web which is found in Australia.

People who are like “oh you must be LYING because you would DIE if you grabbed a FUNNEL WEB”: I’m begging you to look up these guys on Google, (1) for my peace of mind and (2) bc they’re actually super cool little guys
