mama ari has an announcement ... ! 📢 while i do have it in my 'rules' that my activity is sporadic due to my life with young children, i'd like to apologize for my lack of ic content ! i literally think of miss aerith every day, yearning to be here writing on tumblr, but my energy levels are absolutely buried beneath the dirt of gaea.

( why you might ask ? ) ... i'm so excited to share that: i'm expecting baby #3 before the end of this year!!

i will soon have as many littles as there are disc's from the original final fantasy vii game. ( and should my third little be another girl ) i absolutely will be referring to them as mama ari's magus sisters. 🥲🐝🪲🐞 with all that to say: my activity here may significantly drop to purely ooc posting to keep in contact with all of you, with sprinkles of ic interactions when my brain isn't a puddle of liquid mush. 🫂 my oldest is absolutely thrilled to have a new baby in the house, my youngest is also insistent she will be a big sister to a little sister ... and, of course, j + i are absolutely over the moon in excitement.

' where's the rock ? ' 🪨 from yazoo heh

it's  the  day  after  her  birthday.  another  one  spent  away  from  the  friends  and  loved  ones  down  on  gaea,  and  while  each  year  she  tries  to  not  give  the  thought  the  attention  it  desperately  seeks,  her  roots  bear  sorrow.  though  where  she  peers  down  longingly,  the  lifestream  also  gave  her  the  opportunity  for  other  relationships  to  bloom.  getting  aquatinted  with  family  you've  never  met,  but  know  how  deeply  they  were  mourned  for.  introducing  yourself  to  the  friends  of  who  still  gain  the  privilege  to  reside  against  home-plains,  sharing  memories  of  their  name  being  brought  into  conversation.

though  yazoo  were  a  different  case  entirely,  as  though  the  cosmos  fixated  on  their  meeting.  to  begin  a  new,  to  provide  one-another  with  gentle  companionship  from  loneliness.

the  day  of  her  first  cry  on  gaia  and  the  silver  tressed  reveals  himself  through  the  garden  of  lilies  she  tends,  slow  to  speak  of  why  he's  come  to  see  her  despite  his  "  detached  "   persona.  a  piece  of  the  planet  is  gifted,  one  igneous  to  gaia,  and  greens  swell  with  disbelief,  vision  shifting  from  the  rock  extended  outward  to  her,  to  optics  that  purposely  avoid  her  gaze  expressing  gratitude.  &  when  the  rock  is  "  plunk  "  -ed  into  her  palm,  the  cetra  is  quick  to  inspect  it  closely.  it's  entirely  smooth,  even  appearing  to  have  more  of  a  shine  as  though  it  were  polished.  so  when  lips  part,  eager  to  inquire  what  were  the  occasion,  aerith  is  surprised  to  see  how  quickly  he's  fled  elsewhere.  she  wonders  if  he  spent  time  into  this  gesture,  if  that  were  the  reason  for  his  hastily  departure.  regardless  —   –  gratitude  resided  in  the  palm  of  her  hand.

❛   where's  the  rock  ?   ❜,      it  sounds  so  natural  off  the  tongue  of  yazoo,  entering  her  peripheral  vision  as  she  sits  center  the  florets  with  his  gift  within  her  pinschers  grasp.  so  with  a  smile  that  hasn't  left  her  face,  aerith  lifts  the  rock  higher  in  response  to  his  inquiry,  quickly  following  the  motion  with  some  light-hearted  conversation  to  keep  him  in  her  company.     ❛  this  was  a  birthday  gift,  right   ?   i  didn't  get  to  thank  you,  or  ask  where  you  got  this  from  .  .  .  sooo  –  –  –   when's  your  birthday  ?   maybe  we  can  make  this  our  own  little  tradition  !   ❜
