fun fact: procrastination happens to animals too. it’s a naturall thing. animal equivalents for scrolling tumblr include:  - hamsters starting to wash their faces in inaproppriate situations  - hyenas stopping everything and starting to dig holes in the ground.  - seagulls starting to ruffle their feathers instead of doing important things this happens for two reasons:  1) an animal is in the situation where none of the standard scenarious it has are fitting, so it does the next best thing  (example: hamsters were put in a vibrating bowl, they couldn’t run or attack, so in about a minute they stopped everything and started washing their faces.) 2) an animal has two conflicting instincts fighting for dominance, so the third one, usualy suppressed by them, kicks in. (example: when two hyenas meet at the border of their territories, they have an instinct to protect their own territory conflict with an instinct not to cross someone else’s. they don’t know if they need to attack or leave, so both start digging holes in the ground. example: a seagull sitting on the nest needs to protect her children, but also has to go get some food. instead a seagull settles for ruffling her feathers for two hours.) with humans it’s usually the second reason. (example: I’m tired and I want to go to sleep, but I should write an essay for tomorrow. both these things are important, so I’m procrastinating them by writing this post.) nature is beautiful. I’m gonna go to sleep now.

I love Gordon Ramsay so much.

He comes from a very poor family. His father was an alcoholic who beat him and his mother (he once poured hot tea over her and put her in hospital several times), his brother is a drug addict, he literally built an empire out of nothing.

He credits his mother as his biggest inspiration and often has her cooking in his shows.

When he left his first restaurant he pulled a successful Jerry Maguire - the entire kitchen staff went with him. That tells you what he’s like to work with.

He was one of the first to give a restaurant to a female chef.

He went to prison (Gordon Behind Bars) and taught inmates to bake and they opened a bakery (Bad Boys Bakery) that is still running. He hired one of them when he got out.

He did documentaries about the cruelty of shark hunting and cocaine. (when he discovered cocaine was used by his staff he didn’t fire anyone but made sure they are offered treatment)

His kids are a treasure.

He is always ALWAYS kind to servers.

When one of his partners (Marcus Wareing) wanted to leave they got into a fight and settled it in court, they no longer speak to each other but this is what Marcus said about him after the fight: 

I feel bad that the first association to him for a lot of people is this shouty TV chef when he’s truly a wonderful person.

I’m really glad people post stuff like this because honestly yes, the only thing I knew about Gordon Ramsey at first was that he swears like a sailor. It’s good to know that he’s a much more genuine person than that. This is probably also a good example of how television can shape our perceptions of people; TV producers are going to focus on what gets the most attention, not on what is necessarily best or most true about a person. It’s good to be mindful of that while watching reality shows and movies.

Today on "Zen is my bias and I enjoy pain"

You know how it’s suggested that you take Zen as your first route? And then subsequently the rest of the members?

I’m gonna stick by the most common route suggestion which is:

Zen -> Yoosung -> Jaehee -> Jumin -> Seven

Well do you remember his call on Seven’s route, at night on Day 10?

“That’s great… I could’ve made you happy too.”

What if he’s been in love with you throughout all the routes? From what I’ve observed he’s always more loving and SO MUCH MORE WORRIED than the rest of the members, and he always drops hints that he likes you. What if after you reset on this boy his feelings remain and he’s just so confused as to why you have such a grip on him? What if he flirts with you to try to make sense of his feelings?

Another example, that one phone call in Yoosung’s route where he says he should’ve realised his feelings sooner, and then he says “Never mind”.

OKAY LET’S GET INTO THE MAIN SHIT.

We all know that Zen has psychic dreams. Through all of the resets he’s the one who’s been reseted on the most. Think about it. Most people wouldn’t reset after Seven, so he has the good end of the deal. But Zen waits for you… and you never come back. BESIDES THE POINT. Zen starts to realise the trend to every reset and every time you appear his feelings are so strong. There’s a nagging voice in his head that knows he’s gone through the same thing before.

This explains why he’s progressively more protective and caring of you as the routes go on. Think about it.

And then I guess he realises that after Seven, it’s the end of the line. What more does he have to lose? He’s waited over 40 days and it doesn’t seem like you’ll ever come back.

“I could’ve made you happy too.”

Hence, I conclude that Zen loves you in every single route. And he will forever.
