No, we dont know the statistics but logic is on our side
Not only is impostor syndrome a thing within most systems, causing the disbelief of plurality and even the disbelief in their memory loss and trauma. but there is also the masking of plurality that's common in nuerodivergent/unofficially diagnosed and even the young ppl. There are many reasons for masking. like for instance ppl on the spectrum already practice masking all the time and it seems like it'd be likely they'd mask their plurality more than a born nuerotypical system. Ppl with unsupportive parents or guardians, yes especially the ones who play a part in their trauma, cause them to mask to hide their differences for safety and security. ppl mask for employment reasons, school and healthcare too
Then theres also the fact that some origin personalities/hosts and even new hosts refuse to leave front, because it is a loss of control. a lot of system hosts do this whether it be DID or OSDD. It happens sometimes. NO ONE LIKES TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE BODY, lets just make that clear.
Median osdd1 systems are more common than DID systems from our understanding because we are all more likely to meet or walk past them without KNOWING they are a system, than we are for public and outed systems. Idk how many ppl we've met irl that have later been diagnosed and having had no clue that they weren't singular until they themselves found out- We have lost count.
Fake claiming Median systems is not cool. Its way more common than u guys think and is also no different than telling ppl they arent autistic because they're "functional", in our opinion it's just a nasty way of saying they arent "plural enough"
