Welcome to Plurality Research

We want to create an environment where people can learn about plurality in an accessible and meaningful way. We also want to provide a safe space for people to discuss their experiences, ask questions, and get answers. Our goal is to spread awareness of the various types, origins, functions, and other aspects of plurality that are often overlooked or underreported.

To do this, we need your help. If you think you have something to contribute, please get in touch with us! We’re always looking for new writers and editors who are passionate about plurality. Some ways to help us would be sending asks about your experiences with plurality (anywhere on the spectrum including singlets), offering to help with research or creating posts, filling out the Google Form, and more!! If you think you have something to contribute, please let us know.

Do not interact with the blog if you’re not interested in learning about non-traumagenic plurality or if you harass others. Anti-endos may interact, but please don’t spread misinformation or hate. Existing in a different way than is expected or common does not make your existence wrong. Endogenic systems are real systems, end of story.

To all the plurals questioning whether they’re faking or not…

You are still plural if you cannot remember your trauma.

You are still plural if your system wasn’t formed from trauma.

You are still plural if you do not know what caused your system to form.

You are still plural if your system was formed through religious/spiritual means.

You are still plural if you created your system intentionally.

You are still a plural if your system formed for multiple reasons.

You are still plural if your system is non-disordered.

You are still plural if your system is disordered.

You are still plural if your system is primarily composed of introjects.

You are still valid, deserving of respect, and real. Being plural is a very confusing and often stressful thing, and fears of faking are to be expected, as horrible as they are. You are not alone; the plural community acknowledges and accepts you no matter who you are or how you discovered your plurality. There are safe and welcoming support spaces. Everyone, regardless of their origin, deserves to feel comfortable with themselves, I promise.

Ima be honest, I hate having the "Anti-endos dni" thing. It really shouldn't be there. I should be able to say hey to someone without getting hated on just because, I'm existing.

"Systems cannot form without trauma!" Awesome. Endogenic means not forming from trauma. There are people who are Endogenic with trauma.

"Your alters can't come from different worlds!" You can't deny the existence of other worlds, because that's just disrespectful to multiple religions. If someone is a system because of spiritual reasons, then just let it be. Because there will NEVER be scientific facts against this. It's a spiritual belief at that point.

"Endos are invading our spaces!" I yet to see that. Just because on person who's Endogenic is bad, doesn't mean they all are. You might as well hate gay people because this one gay person beat you up. I swear, we're a lot more open-minded than you will ever think.

Honestly, if you're anti-endo idc if you interact. If you are open to other sides lf the argument, and have some common sense and respect for me, then go ahead. I'm fine with people asking me questions and learning about my experience.

Anyway sysmeds shouldn't dictate who you are and you will always know yourself better then other people. Being endogenic doesnt hurt anyone and specifically to willogenic systems, knowing who you are who you guys want to be is powerful and a valuable thing. I hope everyone has a great day.
