Resources to get involved with Trump presidency resistance
Feeling very overwhelmed by the first four days of Trump’s presidency? I know I am. With each breaking story from his gas-lighting an entire nation, to telling EPA and USDA to not talk to any press or media, executive orders on reproductive rights, or forging on with DAPL and defunding arts programming like NPR and PBS there is a lot to be angry, upset, sad and anxious about. Let’s channel those feelings into action.
This list is by no means exhaustive but a start of things to do to let your senators and representatives know that you are not okay with what is happening. Please share and add more resources you may know of.

100 actions in 100 days
From the organizers of the Women's March on Washington, join their email list to receive an action item to do every 10 days for the first 100 days of Trump's presidency. The first is to contact your representatives with printable post cards you personalize with the issues that matter to you on the back.
100 Days of Resistance
Be alerted of peaceful protests and acts of resistance in your area during the first 100 days of Trump’s presidency. The platform includes stopping harmful policies like building a wall and repealing ACA while supporting issues like a progressive Supreme Court voice, a halt to police violence, middle-class jobs and a livable wage.
2 Hours A Week
A list of 50+ tangible actions that take less than 2 hours a week to complete. You can also sign up for daily emails with a "single essential action item" you can do every day, or check their website for daily action items as well.
The Women's Guard
Sign-up and commit to a once a month action from protesting, calling, organizing and more in your area to show that we will not go away. You will receive emails about how to participate and the organizers will work to make sure the media is aware and amplify the message.
Call Them In
Remind the Government Who They Work For. Sign up to receive timely email reminders with call scripts to contact your representatives in opposition to Donald Trump's agenda.
Countable
If calling isn't your cup of tea download the app Countable. Give the app your zip code, it tells you who represents you in the House and Senate, lets you customize your dash with the issues that you're most concerned with. Then countable will keep you up to date on the issues and what's happening in D.C. and you can let your lawmakers know how you feel about an issue by voting anonymously on the issue in app.
GEAR UP FOR 2018
Register to Vote
Register to vote in the 2018 election for your Representatives and Senators. Also, plan on voting in local elections — they can have more impact on your immediate life as well as let the people representing you know how you feel.
Swing Left
The 2018 election will be chosen by key swing districts. If you are in a swing district this is a resource to help you learn who is up for election and where they stand on the issues. And whether you are in a swing district or not you can join and receive actionable opportunities to defeat the GOP in 2018.
The Resurgent Left
Get involved with this organization to help rebuild the democratic party. Their goal is to "efficiently target and organize efforts to retake both federal and state seats across the United States."
Emily's List
Emily’s List helps pro-choice democratic women get elected to office. If you feel like now is the time for you to run, get involved with this organization and they can help provide resources and even funding.
