Hi guys, I'm probably going to be on here sporadically for the next couple of days -- I'm trying to finish up a paper + stop my dog from killing himself. You might be catching me in an unusually satisfied mood...but I can't think of anything, like, immediately for the fandoms I'm in. Like, I always love new things for my personal blorbos, I always love more OCs that are well-developed and have interesting designs, I always love more material for female characters and/or characters of color, on a general level....but I don't know if there's anything SPECIFICALLY that I'd like. And what I would like to see, I'm working on, so a part of me is almost like "no, I DON'T want to see it, because it's mine." The angle that I'm bringing to the fics I'm working on is...mine. And that's fine. I want to think of things that no one else would.

a mosque in scotland had to be put into lockdown. they are going door-to-door with hit lists and addresses in northern ireland, setting houses alight. they firebombed an imam's house in manchester. people of colour are being targeted and attacked by racist mobs in the street in broad daylight.
and instead of widespread condemnation or wall-to-wall coverage, the UK media and political establishment is filling air time talking about the "legitimate concerns" people have about "illegal migrants"
