Not a big announcement, but just a simple announcement.

I wonder how long it's been. Feels like 10 years have passed, even though, what, one, two years have passed?

Anyway, I wanted to come on quickly to say that I will hopefully open commissions soon. How I want to do it is what's holding me back. That, and I'm such a big, super procrastinator that most days, I can't get my ass out of bed and I'm just lazy.

But yeah, I'll hopefully open commissions at some point. Gotta make sure everything is good to go and I have enough artwork to show for it. I am making more art on the side in the meantime to fulfill the two month gap I was gonna post some art (reason is because I had a health scare and a bunch of appointments during those two months).

I was also thinking of making merch and selling some traditional art, but I'm on the fence about that. I have a lot of things on my mind all at once and I need to take it one step at a time.

Anyway, this post is getting long. That's all I wanted to come on quickly to say. Again, I need to art again, but I just need to get off my procrastinating butt, stop looking at food videos on Insta (and trying to copy the recipes), and actually get back on track.

G1 Sideswipe

Okay, so I made this drawing for a good friend of mine to print for me to get Michael Bell's signature at the TFCon 2026 since I couldn't go for reasons.

And I'm surprised by how well it turned out, cause drawing G1 is difficult, man! Mostly when it comes to angles (and it doesn't help that I tried using show references and the sizes, shapes and colors always change in seconds).

But it was my first attempt and I feel a bit proud.

Two Valentine pieces in one day??

Yup. You heard right. I made two pieces of art for Valentine's day. One traditional and one digital. I made these for a Valentine's Contest in a discord server and I figured I post them here since I haven't posted in a while.

I saw the skybound preview of oplita and I decided to draw it in the traditional style, using only pigma micron pens for the lineart and colored pencils for the colors.

As for this one...um, don't ask. I don't know how I managed to draw this one. But I decided to kill two birds in one stone. If you need context, Strongswipe is giving Oplita a bit of a pushing encouragement.

Also, TFA Elita....holy shit! I had to redraw her arm so many times, it ain't funny! I swear to god, I think I had a mini silent breakdown that wasn't exactly like a breakdown, but more of a 'how does robot arm work?!'

Thankfully, after about three redraws and different angles, I got one pose that looked decent enough. Then again, as an artist, I hate drawing hands in general. The struggle is real.

But besides that, the pieces are done and I hope they're okay. I tried the best I could.

So I saw that one Squid Games meme pic that has been floating around and I decided to try it. I could have polished it more, but maybe I come back to it. But I like what I did so far.

I finished the last five of the cards. I'll be starting to paint them soon.

I'm a bit nervous to do so cause I haven't done watercolor painting in a long time. But these are supposed to be tests, so....wish me luck!

I'm working on a little side project while I'm trying to finish a very late birthday gift for a friend.

I got some new paint brushes and I'm planning on doing some watercolor with them, and to test out how decent my watercoloring painting is, I have ten watercolor cards to try out.

So, I figured I would try them out. Got the sketches done on the first 5 cards already, so I'm finishing the last five. And then I can start the coloring process.

I'm hoping the watercolors I still have are around somewhere. If I can't find them I will put the painting process on hold and I will get new paints. So far, it's been fun and it's getting me more excited.

Thanks to my good friend @hah-studios, the idea of Decepticon Sideswipe has taken over residence in my head. And as such, I got another Kingdom Sides and TAV Sideswipe to make the boys into custom Cons. Still working on them, but this is the progress so far.

Delay

I have a TF Mermay piece in the works, and it's gonna be a bit late. I had some issues in May going on that I didn't have the time to do any drawings. But I got those issues resolved, so I will have something for Mermay (even though the month is over).

And after that, I'll be working on my Pride Month piece(s).

Been having the old, grizzled cop on my mind lately. I had to do some sketches of him. And I had a blast!

The person in the bottom left corner is my attempt at a TFA version of @mepzilla's Cheetor/Elena child, Edgar. (I made him older like a teenager, cause apparently I suck at drawing kids!)

Also, I might color the rest. I just wanted to do the top corner one for fun. (That and to practice more on effects.)

And here is day 3! Raoul and Tracks! First time I ever drew them, and I realized how much I still hate drawing humans. I'm trying to learn and improve.

Battle Couple/Reunion

First, let me explain.

I know I'm WAY past late. I realized that things happened over the ship week (along with some of my files ended up being lost and I couldn't recover them).

But here is day two! And I got day 3 done as well. This is the Reunion of Charlie and Bee (and I know Charlie isn't in the aligned continuity, but I don't care! I did it!), which Bee is surprised to see Charlie again, and in the scrapyard no less!

So I heard it was Pokemon Day and…well, I decided to dig up an old drawing I did in my sketch book and digitalize it. And here's the result.

Context on how this drawing came to be was a irl friend of mine and I were in a sort of Yugioh hype and we were trying to figure out which Yugioh protag would be who. She mentioned that Yuya Sakaki would be a shiny Bagon, and I work with it and boom! I did it.

For context, Sunstreaker is trying to try out a date with Kelly, but had to bring Bob (Sides couldn't babysit and everyone else was busy). Kelly thought Bob was cute and says Sunny was a good owner. Though Sunny didn't agree.

(Note: I know it's supposed to be a date 'night,' but does it have to be at night? I guess date 'day' doesn't sound all that good. But I decided to break the mold! I'm a rebel!

...And I also realized I suck at drawing IDW style.

And another note, I know Sunstreaker and Kelly are in different continuities, but something just clicks with me about this pairing.)
