Someone’s pretending to be me in an attempt to scam people, just so you know! I’m sure you’re all too smart to fall for something so obvious though, hehe
Also I haven’t done commissions in 8 years so… if a feef corners you and offers commissions, don’t let them take you to a secondary location.
Artist based in Sweden I'm into biology, natural decomposers, cute girls ano death!
AND YET!
Pope Leo is letting American bishops entirely ban trans healthcare for both minors and adults in all Catholic-owned hospitals and clinics, and stop coverage for trans healthcare through Catholic-affiliated health insurance plans!!
People are having surgeries, for which they were on waitlists for years, suddenly cancelled. Hormones no longer covered, their clinicians no longer able to prescribe them. Considering in some states Catholic-owned healthcare organizations make up to a third of the market, as it were, this is a HUGE issue.
Missing hormones. Canceled surgeries. Bureaucratic denials. Late last year the Catholic Church banned all trans healthcare across its sprawl
This has been happening since November of last year, when this vote took place, but no one is talking about it. The rehabilitation of the image of the papacy through Pope Leo is killing me, it’s still the goddamn Catholic Church. You do not gotta hand it to them.
Follow the money behind America's data center boom. Track 2,300+ projects, PAC spending, and the politicians who sign off on it.
New games released after January 2028 will be digital-only.
Sony has announced that from January 2028 it will entirely stop the production of physical discs for new PlayStation games. From that point onwards, new releases will only be available in digital versions from the PlayStation Store and other retailers. Games released before January 2028 will still be available on disc.
They cite "consumer preference" as the reason, but we all know what's going on. If there's no physical media, you don't really own your game. You're only renting it.
From the way this is worded I think future Playstation consoles will continue to have optical drives, at least as an option.
This announcement dropped right after Sony deleted 551 movies and tv shows that people paid for under the assumption that they were buying a physical copy, not renting it
'Play has no limits,' Sony says, as it stops people playing TV shows and movies they paid to own
Piracy is so fucking back
The KIDS act (which contains KOSA) passed the US house, so I would recommend calling your senators and telling them to vote in opposition. I don't think I need to stress the importance of being able to use the internet freely and without privacy barriers being breached.
There are many scripts online you can follow, many ways to tweak your message to fit your senator (ESPECIALLY if they are up for reelection this year). Whether it's a recording you reach or a real person, be straightforward, don't argue, just let your rep know that you are a constituent and you oppose the KIDS act, etc.
Here is where you can search for your senator... call, email, fax, bring them physical letters, show up in person to their offices if you are able.

Venezuela was hit by two earthquakes yesterday, a 7.2 and a 7.5. Many parts of the country have been reduced to rubble, and areas of Caracas have been flattened. Their infrastructure has already been under immense strain. Here's how you can help:

The World Central Kitchen has also opened donations to send assistance and resources to first responders.

It is a little difficult for me to format this information, as I am getting it through WhatsApp messages and Instagram reels, but I will be using this post to add collection centres outside of Venezuela. I will not be using this platform to spread information for those who are inside Venezuela as I know there are better platforms for that.
Most of the information I share will be in spanish and I also will not be doing any translation work. The addresses are clear and the items needed are universal in every catastrophe of this magnitude.

This website will be updating information on ways to help for those outside Venezuela. It is in spanish.
Estimates from people on the ground are around 40,000 people missing.
I made slightly accurate wolf images based on that one post about loners making quotes with wolves and lions when they're the most famous pack animals ever
Feel free to use, they kinda look crap but it's okay I saw an actual lone wolf quote in COMIC SANS while trying to find pics for this

WATCH THE VIDEO. Its info on a malware scam going around
over 700 (real, reputable) sites using Ghost CMS were compromised by malware like this! a patch was released in february but lots of sites didn't update and were/are still vulnerable to this exploit (via SQL injection iirc). like they said in the video, even if you're on a reputable site, a real CAPTCHA will never ever tell you to run a command like this.
Ghost CMS flaw CVE-2026-26980 enabled attacks on 700+ sites, injecting ClickFix malware through fake CAPTCHA pages.
Something that’s always a bit odd to think about I think for younger LGBTQ+ folks in the US is both how recent some degree of normalization around same gender couples is, as well as same sex marriage recognition and legalization. It feels like it’s been much longer than it has been.
I’m 34 now; I met my wife when we were 18. When we met and started dating, we could only have gotten married legally with full rights and recognition in 5 states, and only one of those included a state that one of us considered home.
By the time we got engaged, that number was up to 9 states, and by end of that year, we’d add another 7. 2013 added the state I was from as well as the state we’ve lived in for the last almost 13 years.
Yesterday was the 11th anniversary of Obergefell V Hodges decision, and I think it’s so important to stress how this ruling came from a couple who got married in a state where it was legal, but called a state without marriage legalization home. Obergefell’s husband (John Arthur) was dying from ALS, which prompted them to go to a state where they could be wed before he died. Upon coming home, Obergefell found out he still wouldn’t be listed as the spouse on his husband’s death certificate because reciprocity between states to recognize the marriage wasn’t required.
That seems small, but without an army of lawyers and reams of paperwork, Obergefell likely would have had to fight tooth and nail to have the automatic right to make determinations about his husband’s end of life care, his funeral arrangements, what happened to Arthur’s belongings, any home they may have held in common. In a state like Ohio, if Arthur’s family wasn’t supportive and felt litigious, in most instances it would have been easy to get a judge to award those rights to Arthur’s family, and it was an extremely common outcome before same sex marriage recognition. That outcome lead to some folks performing adult adoptions with their partner in order to ensure their wishes were respected. I cannot stress how for marginalized people in loving and functional relationships in the United States, legal marriage recognition is not just a piece of paper to symbolize your commitment. That wedding license is a guarantee of certain dignities and protections that are automatically granted to couples in opposite sex relationships who choose marriage. For folks from abusive or unsupportive families, it is a lifeline.
The key thing to understand here is that you likely know or have met people who have lived in a world where they couldn’t be legally married to their partner because they were not an opposite sex couple (and understand- I do not believe in calling the 2015 decision marriage equality. We don’t have that until disabled folks can get married without losing their benefits). And almost everyone I knew who cared about that right before 2015 knew it was not the end of the fight to secure our rights. It’s the beginning and is but a stop on the way towards full liberation. We cannot settle for half way measures; we still have work to do. When times are hard, we have to keep going, because none of us are free until we all are, and that especially includes trans folks.
Happy Pride Month.
Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
You can read the interview here, you can buy my graphic novel featuring a gay vampire here, and you can call your congressmen about rejecting HR 2616, HR 8705, HR 7661 using 5calls.org (they don't have these specific bills listed as things to call about, but luckily you can talk about whatever you want on the phone)
i love when people on the internet get denied stuff and you find the most innovative minds of the generation dedicated to making goddamn sure other people get what they want come hell or high water
Okay but I get this. All of you worms who have things blocked on your wifi or whatever and have IbisPaint this is how you do it
Open IbisPaint go to a canvas (any canvas, or make. a new one)
Select the font tool (if you don’t know what or where that is, press the tool icon (normally a paint brush or eraser) and press the T button
From there you should be able to create a text box (writing is not important…). Find the font button and add a new font. I can’t remember what it’s called but you’ll know when you see it
It’ll automatically search for you “free fonts.” Do not follow this. Your app is misdirecting you. Instead search up whatever it is you’re looking for in the search bar, and that should work
Knowledge should not be trapped behind bars, bend and break them until you can grasp it
I used to use a VPN back when i was living in group housing to get around the webblocker. Not sure if that’s still a viable option given that was 9 years ago (and was something i mainly used on my laptop; not my phone). But looking up workarounds followed by “reddit” supplied a number of different options.
For me, i had to cycle thru multiple different VPNs that had to specifically be installed in my browser to get it work properly. The only downside is that it made some pages load slower, but that shouldn’t be an issue for something like AO3.
Master doc that contains different resources and support for many countries including Palestine, Congo, Haiti, Hawai’i, etc ((op is underneath the link))

There's worse to come, folks. Strap in and stay strapped.
a lot of people dont care about insect biomass collapse bc when they hear we are losing 2.5% of the insect biomass per year they just imagine the cockroach and housefly population decreasing by that much. they dont realize those are among the only ones that will remain unbothered
you can make a little oasis right where you are, and it matters
every year of restoring native plants I see a great increase in the insect populations, and loads of new insects i never saw before (all of them harmless--the insects that are harmful or parasitic on humans are the main ones being unaffected by the decrease in insect populations)
(a large part of) the problem is Plant Sameness. we must restore plant diversity
