Prepping for my organic/inorganic exam next week, which I don’t feel ready for at all. Then again I don’t think I’ve ever felt ready for a chemistry exam in my life. This session has been especially hectic but I’m so happy with how hard I’ve worked in the last few weeks and I feel like I’m getting my exam strategy down.

ok so I was going to write a different caption for this but I honestly have no idea wtf I’m doing right now lol. so far this quarter has been the busiest I’ve ever had- I’m taking 19 credits (the highest I’ve ever taken), started working at my first internship, doing work with some community activist organizations, planning what my life is going to look like over the next year, not to mention… surviving during an election year in a global pandemic). needless to say, I am very tired. it’s all just a lot and last week I finally burnt out. 

tbh it feels wrong to complain about everything I’m doing because it’s all stuff that I genuinely love (other than analyzing founding father speeches for my communication of public address class) but I guess I really just have to keep reminding myself that work is work, and productivity isn’t admirable if you never take a break. you don’t have to earn the right to rest- what’s important is that you prioritize it. my life will work itself out one way or another. everything is going to be okay. sending you lots of love xxx
