not only are they getting divorced and going through a trial separation and trying to keep it quiet, they have to go to work together every day. they're living in separate apartments but they have to show up to practice together. because this is their brand now, the married hockey gays. they've been so good at keeping up appearances. the team is fine, not great, but people are wondering if the generational talents have fallen off. naturally the jokes about too much time sucking dick instead of playing hockey, too busy playing with each other's sticks, you know. they're talking through their lawyers, they're going to the agreed upon marriage counselling, they're fucking in the back of the car in the parking lot after their appointment. they're not talking about anything but the sex is better than it's ever been. they're still going back to their own places afterwards.
