🐾 I. Behind the scales

Greetings, wayfarer! I’m Eobe, the Dragon tamer (mun) 🩵 You’ve stumbled into the realm of Dragon, who draws, writes, muses and sometimes monologues about the nature of clouds, heroes or morons with a nice cup of cocoa ☕️

This is a place for art, stories and some occasional philosophical ramble. So you can expect a mix of cozy myth, dry wit, thoughtful storytelling, and a bit dramatic flourish (because, well it’s a dragon 🐉)

🎨 II. Art and RP – A two-headed delight

This blog is mainly an art space. You’ll find sketches, scenes, and mood art pieces – often sparked by RP threads.

Art may appear in character, often something Dragon made, or meta, as part of the muse-mun blend. Sometimes it’s serious. Sometimes it’s fun chaos.

You’re welcome to react to art in-character, or even build a scene around it. Visual storytelling is encouraged!

✍️ III. What kind of RP happens here?

Writing style: Multipara to novella. Dragon just dragoning – but not everything needs to be epic.

Genres: Fantasy, medieval, myth, sci-fi (multidimensional portals are hard to tame – like a dragon), existential fluff, clumsy fun chaos, character-driven weirdness.

Tone: Somewhere between ancient tales, lazy cat in the sun and scattered professor. I like creating moments – whether they’re quiet, ridiculous, stone-melting or especially a little magical.

🧭 IV. Boundaries

SFW: This hoard is safe for work. Subtlety and innuendo are fine and hatchlings should use individual filters anyway to protect themselves!

Triggers: If something is off-limits for you, please tell. I respect and protect borders.

Godmodding: Kindly no. Dragons need to steer their own wings. If you have an idea to create Dragon scenes, you can always shoot an ask or IM ✨

📩 V. Interactions & feeding the lizard

Selective RP: I draw, write and reblog what inspires me, not out of elitism, but for the sake of meaningful storytelling (and time).

Askbox / IMs: Open. Ask for Dragon Wisdom or Weirdness, IC play, OOC chatter and art prompts. You can address me or Dragon directly.

Random interactions welcome, especially if they’re clever, creative, or just a little weird.

⏳ VI. Patience is a virtue (and also my default setting)

Sometimes Dragon answers swiftly and sometimes Dragon vanishes into a pile of half-finished drafts like nesting in warm laundry 😅 Delays are never personal – just part of the process. I always try to return to what matters!

I used to have a hoard in the grotto of a laguna a long time ago, so I was a sea dragon to that time.

I had to leave it though. I don't know exactly how the humans managed it, but there was a big flood that swallowed the whole isle. My old hoard is lost in the deep. I dived for it, but everything was a chaos down there.

I found some of Mother's golden apples that I used to protect, but I decided to leave them there. In my opinion neither a southern, nor a northern human culture could deal with them and they really shouldn't mess around with Mother's goods.

From one of the southern cultures a big human or half-human guy told everyone, that they defeated me, but actually he wasn't that big in the bedroom and sneaked out with some of Mother's golden apples. I got them back and I heard that the guy was quite a big storyteller.

From one of the northern cultures came a giant for my apples and that one was else, he picked me up like a hatchling and carried me to his home dimension! Maybe he thought I would make more golden apples or something. I was just about to leave, another one, quite the suspect guy came to "save me" and created a mess with the dimensions and his people. It was nuts!

Mother said it was a wise decision to leave the golden apples down there. Sometimes I think she's nothing but amused about all the shenanigans that happen on her garden!

I'll have a look though. I smell mermaids, so I rather choose a mermaid shape to not scare them. Do you think this shape will do it for them?

25 years of Nocturius Illustration

In late December to early January, artists from every social media do their little compilation of the year and I decided to do something a little different. 25 years of 🌈✨✨ ME ✨✨🌈.

I'm someone who has been curating their own art steadily since 1999 as a tweenager. 😅(yes, I'm that old) So here it is. 1 art per year from 2001 to 2025. 25 drawings!

Conveniently put in folders or size adequate portfolio, on basic lined sheet to watercolor canvas. I kept a huge amont of doodles, sketches, drawings, painting, fully rendered art.

I also started tinkering with digital art for a while. Also kept in folders on my computer with the raw photoshop/krita files and many wips. If one day some folks doubt my shits might be AI well, that piles of everything for over 25 years would be pretty hard to disprove.

(Yeah... I'm a nerd) Anyway. Here the close-ups! There is tiny descriptions in the alt texts.

Dear tracyn’araal, I come seeking wisdom.

This small orange araal moved himself into my domicile a number of years ago. He spends much of his time lazing about in sunspots and silently judging me with his baleful glares. He demands daily tributes of invertebrate prey and vegetation (preferably orange or red coloured vegetation, though blue also seems to be acceptable).

Recently he has begun bobbing his head and stomping his feet at me. His impressive beard intermittently changes to a striking black colour. This seems like an act of aggression, or maybe passion? I am uncertain. Am I in danger? Are my insect prey tributes insufficient? Is my domicile about to be burned to a crisp?

Please advise.

Pleased to meet a metal-clothed human that doesn't wave with their weapons for greeting and now I can see why you're so different to (most of) the other knights, that visit my cave – despite all of your observations that might look like the opposite, I have to tell you, that you're already the precious of a dragon that decided to hoard you! 🤩

Yeeees, we dragons can be a little bit difficult... tiring and unnerving too I guess. But we really really like and more or less obviously appreciate daily tributes 🥰 *Purr purr purr*

Now your dragon started to bob his head, stomp his feet and darken his beard? 👀 So if there aren't unfriendly knights or other stress factors close to your his hoard, I guess cautiously, that for your dragon begins mating time! 🦚✨ If that's the case, I think he's a bit on edge and impatient at the moment, but for sure you prepared your his domicile with fireproof materials 🔥
