August 18th - My spread for this week - the theme sort of was Japan, I suppose, though I just used whatever pictures and elements I thought would look cute 😊 Also, it’s my birthday today so I’m spending the rest of the day relaxing after coming home from my internship. 💕

Because of my anxiety lately, I thought it would be therapeutic to challenge myself to write a journal entry every day this week. Reading back on my week’s entries, I think self-doubt and regret have become my top arch enemies. Sometimes it’s not always easy believing that everything happens for a reason. This week has been a lot of self-reflection and trying not to be so hard on myself for things out of my control. Breathe, reflect, and try to do better.

i need to say this: bullet journaling is not a competition. there are not “right bujo” and “wrong bujo”. every journal is personal and it has different personalities. get inspired by other people’s journals, but don’t think even for a second that because you’re not good at calligraphy, doodles or you don’t own expensive stationery it means you are not doing it right. let’s just stop this. you have a beautiful decorated journal? we love it. you have a beautiful minimal journal? we love it.
