something about them hiking in the woods🌳
(peter REALLY LOVES his dadneto❤️)
man y’all remember when the avengers movie came out and everyone headcanoned that all the avengers would live together in the tower and had all these cute posts about various fun ways they could interact and then the movies literally never had any of them even be friends
I want to state, for the record, that “all the avengers would live together in the tower” wasn’t collective headcanon, it was canon. The very last scene of Avengers (2012), the one they left us on, is Tony redesigning the tower, designing a living area for each Avenger. That was, canonically, what was supposed to happen, in canon, and they just changed their minds and decided to… not. For whatever goldarn reason.
GHHFDGJHFDS THATS EVEN FUNNIER WHY IS MARVEL LIKE THIS
just saw a "only one bed" fic with the major character death warning
#i guess that's one way to solve that problem
“This bed ain’t big enough for the both of us.”

i bring a "technically i could do this tomorrow" energy to things that tomorrow me really resents
I don’t take people who insult published books they don’t like by saying “it reads like fanfiction” seriously, because these people obviously don’t know fanfiction doesn’t automatically mean “bad quality”, fanfiction doesn’t automatically mean “lesser than published original novels”.
some fanfic writers put as much time, effort and research into their fics as writers who write original works do their books, if not more. (not saying every fanfic writer has to do their research, obviously, because fanfic is a hobby, not a job. but some fanfic writers do insane amounts of research on what they’re writing about, I believe some fic writers put more effort into their fics than writers who write original stories do their books.)
fanfic writers aren’t all children and teenagers either. while children and teenagers can absolutely write fics and while I think it’s super cool that they write at such a young age, a lot of fanfic writers are adults with jobs and responsibilities.
I’ve personally read fanfics that are way more professionally written than some best sellers out there.
whether a piece of writing is a fanfic or an original work has nothing to do with its quality. if anything, I’ll even argue that—while writers who publish original works—write as their careers, for money, fanfic writers literally write completely out of love and passion. there’s no money involved, no capitalism involved, no corporation behind their art. they write for free. without gaining anything in return. because they’re that passionate about the characters and the stories they write about.
obviously I am not saying “writers who write original novels as their careers aren’t passionate about their stories”, I am not saying “writers who write original novels as their careers don’t love their stories”. what I’m saying is that for them, they still gain money in return. but fanfic writers literally write purely because they love what they’re doing. without gaining any money in return. and when people make art out of love and passion, said art tends to be have souls in them.
dadneto, sonsilver and matching outfits❤️
probably my most favourithe thing EVER i made with my two blorbos ;_;<3 and yes, i love the idea of peter secretly loving his dad's style and wishing to look badass like him.

THE TATTOOOSSS i'm passing out
Just wanted to put this out there for fandoms in general. No matter how long you have or haven't been in fandom don't be a dick to people who enter fandom and love what you love. I'm not singling out any one fandom because I see it in lots of places in different fandoms where its from movie vs comic fans, books vs TV shows or live action vs anime, etc. My point is that no matter how long you have been in fandom or why you joined the fandom to begin with (ie where you started to love it) a fan is a fan and instead of sounding like an elitist snob our job as a community is to welcome new fans in with open arms because they play a part of keeping fandom alive. That's what the fandom community is all about and longtime fans should remember that. Every fan matters!
Just found out you can change the kudos message on ao3 and honestly? Best day of my life
Every time you leave kudos on one of my fics, you’ll get one of these messages:
Brain fog is not an adequate descriptor, actually. Fog can be kinda nice and beautiful and ethereal and refreshing. The thing we’re describing is more like a brain BOG; everything moves slow like you’re wading through water, it’s clunky and heavy and you keep getting stuck in the mud. It’s uncomfortable and inconvenient and everything takes so much effort. You lost a shoe, probably.
I love characters who would die for each other but will not, under any circumstances, communicate a single honest feeling.
