Now, about Blade's situation: I was wondering, why everybody was so on edge by the idea of Blade getting a mask.

Like, TB had several interactions with him on Luofu, and he wasn't hostile! Yes, he uncovered Dan Heng's identity, but he didn't try to cause a massive damage. And some interactions were even peaceful (side quest about some dude who managed to grow back to infantry and Blade in the end asked, how did the man go, was he happy or not. Another - when you help Kafka and Blade to leave Luofu, and he is basically dependent in that situation). So, why, I wondered.

And I think, this explanation of Yao Guang is very close to uncovering the mystery: she has gift of Isvara, he has gift of Shihu. Hers can lead to total and complete divination of the whole planet that will seal the fate of it... His gift can do worse, I suppose? I don't know if it can go inward or outward in its effect, but letting this thing out of control - nobody wants that gamble. Except him, perhaps, he probably just wants to disappear for good with the help of Elation.

(I ship them so hard, it's basically a yearly reunion every time. Every quest with Xiao is golden. Transformation from an edgy boy to a gentle friend, year after year.)

This is something I'm ready to return to Genshin for, especially at Lantern Rite.
