One of the major attributes I admire about this character

is being "Peaceful" way far from "harmless", even though I've seen some claims that Aladar's fight with Kron ended the way it did because he was the weaker, actually..

Aladar never went on the offensive with Kron. Each move he made was merely defensive.

Albeit the size difference

+ the combat experience Aladar lacked ( which should've made it more likely for him to seize any given opportunity to attack)

Kron took the initiative & went to the ground

Something which Aladar didn't take advantage of.

He blinded him

Slashed his chest..

That wasn't enough

He smacked him down

.. And still wasn't done until he'd finish him off completely if it wasn't for Neera's intervention.

You see that difference. Because Aladar wasn't primarily after leadership, but only wanted everybody to reach the valley safely.

He was never in for a fight. But had to defend himself against Kron who's mentality offered only obliteration for any objection to his methods or rules.

Something I thought my empowered & feminist Disnerd fellas might like

Lately, I've come across the song "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from the Disney classic (Mulan 1998), in its original language (English)!

While doing so, I found out that you guys listen to (supposedly, the forces general Shang is training) chanting "Be a man!" throughout the song. While that makes sense, given the name of the song, that wasn't what it said in the version I've been watching!

I grew up listening to that song & watching the dubbed version in my own language & dialect. That song used to be & still is very empowering to me.

Yet maybe the reason behind it, besides having the VAs perfecting the performance, was the changes in lyricism, making it more about "Persistence" (which is an alternative title of the song) & how acquiring consistency earns you sought-after qualities rather than (being a man)

So, I thought maybe demonstrating through the song itself would explain that better than I would:

So you're telling me that in order for Israel to get 4 hostages they had to kill 3 other hostages in the same operation?

Do you need any more evidence that this has literally nothing to do with the hostages and everything to do with a sick political stunt by Netanyahu?

They can continue to pretend this was a "success" but we all know well that all of the hostages would have been freed in October of last year had they agreed to engage in diplomatic negotiations, but Israel refused every offer, as long ago as October 9, because they saw and used the living hostages as a justification for genocide and the dead ones as capital to further justify the annihilation of the Palestinian people. Simple.
