So i am romantically attracted to guys, so i started to label myself gay (even though im nb lol). But recently i started to think about having romantic and sexual relationships and i really dont want that?? Like I am romantically and sexually attracted to people, but I really dont want to be in a romantic or sexual relationship. Is there a label for that? Is that even on the ace/aro spectrum?

Sorry it took me a while to reply!I've heard of a couple of labels like that including "cupiosexual", I don't know a great deal about it as I never identified with it personally, but I've just reblogged a post with lots of different identity flags plus a description of each one, including cupiosexual, so you might find something there you ID with?If you can't see it check on my #definitions tag on my blog, it should be under there. Also, my #links tag is full of various identities and first hand experiences of their sexuality under the ace/aro umbrella - I hope that helps!!! Let me know if you want help finding something else!!! Or if you just want to talking out xxx

but jeez I wanted to create a new sexualities post, bigger, better,  and more inclusive than the lizards sexuality one I did last year. I’m kind of proud of this! Have some informative pride candles, or something like that. A

Also huge props to @pride-flags-for-us because without them I’d be lost on a lot of these flags (and also wouldn’t have discovered a lot of sexualities).

This one is for the aro aces that experience other types of attraction. It can be hard to find the words to talk about your feelings, but that doesn’t make your experiences anything less than real. Attraction isn’t always platonic, romantic, and/or sexual.
