Holy crap!!! I love your notes - the formatting, handwriting, and the light volours and small drawings. Your notes are very effective too - I read some and I can actually feel like I'd pass a test if I used your notes. I'd like to take effective notes, but I can't decipher which parts if a topic would be important, or most likely to pop up on a test/exam. Do you have any tips?
Hi, thank you so much! I often have the same issue, however my exam board (WJEC) makes revision guides, written by the chief examiner and along the margins of the book are little hints and tips, examples of questions that are often answered wrong, and little definitions and snipets of information so I tend to base my notes around these bits really as I feel these are the bits often skipped or left out in exams, I hope this was helpful

Hi! I just discovered your blog and I’m in love all ready 😅 I’m hoping to do chemistry for a-level as I find it the easiest of the sciences, but at my school, 21 people took a level chemistry and only 7 remain doing it 😬. I was wondering, for GCSEs did you take separate (triple) science? I’m doing triple science and I’m really glad as a lot of the content is similar to that of double science, but you just get more lessons so you have more time to learn it. Would you recommend taking chem?
Thank you so much! Yeah something similar happened at my school and now there’s only 3 of us left doing A2 chemistry!! Sadly my school doesn’t offer triple science, only double so I just did that, you’ll be a lot more prepared than me if you do triple! And in terms of recommending chem, it really depends on the teacher, after AS, most of my class got E’s and U’s due to our teacher being really bad, I was one of the lucky ones who got a D 😂 but this year now I have a much better teacher, and I’m going to be re-sitting my AS chem exams along with my A2 exams hopefully to get a better grade. Good luck with chemistry!! I’m sure you’ll do great
A pretty sunrise definitely makes waking up early for school worth it
Chilly little uni open day and some late evening chemistry
Just a little chemistry 🍂

That time of year...
It’s been a while
hi there how many subject to you recommend to take for a-levels if i'm an average student
3 or 4 is the average, in my school you're allowed to pick 3 or 4 yourself and Welsh bac is compulsory so technically I have 5 A levels but a lot of my friends only chose 3 so technically they have 4, universities only ask for 3, I wish I had only taken 3 because then I could have put more effort into those and got higher grades in them so I would recommend 3 or possibly 4 if you want to keep your options open so that if you're not getting along with a subject you can drop it if you want
only two exams left!! and they're both mechanics which I love soooo
chem exam tomorrow... but... GUESS WHO'S HEAD GIRL NEXT YEAR
this took me so long to make, especially because I really struggle with understanding circuits
