Especially this weird man??)

inspired by a piece of fanart by @chereshich , where leo couldn’t bring himself to slay a kraangified zombie girl. and it just got me thinking— in the bad future timeline, avoiding that sort of decision had to be near impossible. the kraang were stronger than them, and unlike the present timeline, breaking out of the kraang’s control probably wasn’t something that could be undone once it happened (maybe there were ways in bad future timeline, but with how their future ended, i’m sure the solutions to save kraangified victims were little to none — we’ll never know).

being slain was probably a better fate than being a weapon of the kraang. leo and the others probably knows this. still doesn’t make the experience any better.

Btw, I think that in the bad timeline Leo might have tried to calm himself down and justify that this would really be better for the kraangified people, but in the good timeline he would regret about killings, because the people could have been saved. (Well, I hope they could be, I just don't remember how the movie ended)
