What is Poetry to You? (Cecilia Vicuña, 1980)
In this short film, Cecilia Vicuña asks everyday people what poetry means to them.

they call it "self insert" because im inserting myself inside of him
um guys, I think we need to stop waiting for ‘the right time’ and just start doing the things we want whenever because the right time’s never gonna come, and if we keep waiting it’s just gonna turn into an endless cycle
i have been watching my hero academia
love typing a whole post and then clicking discard when i realize it doesn't actually matter
depression tips™
shower. not a bath, a shower. use water as hot or cold as u like. u dont even need to wash. just get in under the water and let it run over you for a while. sit on the floor if you gotta.
moisturize everything. use whatever lotion u like. unscented? dollar store lotion? fancy ass 48 hour lotion that makes u smell like a field of wildflowers? use whatever you want, and use it all over.
put on clean, comfortable clothes.
put on ur favorite underwear. cute black lacy panties? those ridiculous boxers u bought last christmas with candy cane hearts on the butt? put em on.
drink cold water. use ice. if u want, add some mint or lemon for an extra boost.
clean something. doesn’t have to be anything big. organize one drawer of ur desk. wash five dirty dishes. do a load of laundry. scrub the bathroom sink.
blast music. listen to something upbeat and dancey and loud, something that’s got lots of energy. sing to it, dance to it, even if you suck at both.
make food. don’t just grab a granola bar to munch. take the time and make food. even if it’s ramen. add something special to it, like a hard boiled egg or some veggies. prepare food, it tastes way better, and you’ll feel like you accomplished something.
make something. write a short story or a poem, draw a picture, color a picture, fold origami, crochet or knit, sculpt something out of clay, anything artistic. even if you don’t think you’re good at it.
go outside. take a walk. sit in the grass. look at the clouds. smell flowers. put your hands in the dirt and feel the soil against your skin.
call someone. call a loved one, a friend, a family member, call a chat service if you have no one else to call. talk to a stranger on the street. have a conversation and listen to someone’s voice. if you can’t, text or email or whatever, just have some social interaction with another person. even if you don’t say much, listen to them.
cuddle your pets if you have them/can cuddle them. take pictures of them. talk to them. tell them how u feel, about your favorite movie, a new game coming out.
Circulating. Seasonal depression is creeping around now.
Lets keep this moving
i dont "Practice" anything. i Rawdog it. And if im not good first try i GIVE UP.

Tomura Shigaraki x Reader
A call from an unknown number leads to a deal with a vampire. How long can you drag out the bargain before you're his next victim? You were never meant to make it out of this alive. tws: blood, violence, vomiting, light stalking, eventual smut this is part 3 [<- previous chapter] [series masterlist]
You wake-up groggy, but glad to have slept a bit. Your head is pounding and your eyes are still swollen. So much for company preventing you from sobbing yourself to sleep. But with Tomura around, at least now you have a shoulder to cry on.
First things first, you pull out your phone to check the news. "Three politicians and five corporate executives found dead in their homes last night…" the article starts. You read through it, searching for their names. Information. Anything incriminating they may have been doing. When you look for more, everything you discover leads to more bribery and corruption. You couldn't have picked a less innocent group if you tried.
Tomura was right, you do feel a bit better. You continue reading, for your own sake.
"…no known cause of death, autopsies are currently being performed."
Good. You exhale a small part of a breath you've been holding for months now. They don't know who you are, at least not yet. No one even saw you. You'll be okay. It's easier to say that than to feel it. But for now, you have more pressing matters. Like buying groceries to eat and keep yourself alive a bit longer. That feels so mundane in the midst of it all, but you have to at some point. You glance through the refrigerator, starting to make a list but there's nothing there.
"Everything," you write, underlining the word. "Everything but oil," you add after checking the cabinet.
love books. because it’s like what if something happened
