Remember when I didn’t know what AO3 was? Dark days.
Reblog if you’ve ever read fan-fiction that actually set the bar higher.
worse than going outside and socializing is finding out that the unfinished fanfiction you are reading was updated in 2009 for the last time
Yes!!!!!!!
Fangirls Problems:
When you have got a lot of books but you can’t stop buying others. BOOKS ARE NEVER ENOUGH, OKAY?

ULTIMATE TV SHIPS >> Danny and Lindsay
“He calls you Montana because he has a crush on you.”
I need more Danny and Lindsay in my life. Still sad about it…….. They were my first fandom ship…..
Lindsay Messer Appreciation Week - Favorite relationship
Danny: Don’t tell me you know a little something about football, please. Lindsay: Why, is that so hard to believe? Danny: No, it’s just dangerous. I might ask you to marry me.
As so many people are keen to forget, Felicity broke the “ nerdy girl gets the hot guy” trope because the thing is, in that trope typically the “nerd girl” has to change in order for the hot guy to notice her. Felicity didn’t have to change to get the man. It was Oliver who had to change for Felicity. Felicity didn’t have to take her glasses off and wear a fancy ballgown to be seen as beautiful. It’s Oliver who wanted her in her glasses in her simple ponytail and all her nerdy rambling. After all:
Felicity didn’t wait around forever and mope and constantly compare herself to the model-esque women Oliver was dating- even after he said he couldn’t be with her. She went and sought out her own happiness. She showed self confidence in her intelligence, in her beauty no matter the standards society put out, and in her worth as a woman and human being. She didn’t allow Oliver’s self-righteous douchebagery when it came to her being with other guys despite him pushing her away stop her from getting with who she wanted. Felicity always stood up for herself and never accepted anything less than what she felt she deserved. And eventually, Oliver realized that and respectfully stepped back. Even if it took time for him to accept the change, to act on his feelings, it still forced him to grow. If anything it’s hot guy gets the geek girl trope (is that a thing?). Felicity epitomizes confidence, vulnerability, and self respect in a woman. She broke the geeky girl/hot guy trope. Don’t sleep on that.
Love this. Lol
All in.
