IT'S THE WEASEL DEN EMERGENCY FUNDRAISER
Well it's an actual emergency, but I'm trying to keep the mood light so I don't fry my brain with worry
So my father has a surgery scheduled for one week from now, thankfully our country has universal health care so the surgery is free, but he will have to go through a 2 month long recovery period in which he will not be able to work.
For those 2 months I'll be the sole source of income for a family of four, so I'm here to ask you to help me do that.
And as an extra incentive me and @midnightechoes have teamed up once again in one massive special donation campaign spanning those two months
As you can see we're kinda asking for a lot, but I truly believe that even the smallest donation can still make a world of difference, so if you have anything left over that you'd like to donate please consider going to my kofi over at ko-fi.com/loriela to lend me a hand or give this post a reblog to boost its reach.
So you might have a few questions in mind, such as:
Because I did some math on my family's monthly expenses and here is how it breaks down
40$ meds for me and my dad
Remaining 90$ will be used for emergencies+paying the artist
This does not cover groceries or other amenities, but thankfully we have saved enough money to cover at least that.
What is with the due dates?
Those are supposed to coincide with the due dates for rent and bills, because even if I make my goal if I don't meet those dates the money isn't gonna be very helpful
If I donate early and my fic doesn't get chosen does it carry over to the next goal?
YES, IT DOES! Fic ideas will carry over from goal to goal all the way to the final raffle at 850$ meaning if you donate early your idea has 7 chances to win
I actually like some of the default fic ideas, can I vote for them instead?
Yes, you can. All of the default options will also carry over, so if you're particularly interested in any of them you'll have 3 chances to vote for your favorite.
If you have any other questions please send me an ask or message me, and do remember that even the slightest bit of help makes a world of difference
