i've been a little slow (sorry) cause getting your period while EXTREMELY iron deficient is so rough so i wake up super late and then can't take my adhd meds so i just spend all day doing nothing

a couple things: why’s his hair so shiny it makes him look like he hasn’t taken a shower in months. that tapestry opening was cool as fuck though. also they better fix the gerudo in this remake. as much as i love them in botw, they’re very racist depictions in all games that they’re in (skittybitty does a very good video about the orientalism in the gerudo on their youtube)

idk i have mixed feelings. visuals are amazing, love the updated tunic, still wish it wasn’t oot, but i’m not mad. i’m glad that it’s a new artstyle

Rift—Echoes of Wisdom Link (he/him)

Silent Swordsman, 19 years old, aroace, trans, left handed, Triforce of Courage

Rift returned to Suthorn Village after Echo’s quest, helping to clear out the traces of Null’s influence. In addition, he assists with Lueberry’s research into might crystals and the Might Sword. He and Echo have grown close, becoming the sister he never had and has been the only one to call her “Coco”. Although he regained his ability to speak, the prolonged disuse of his vocal cords damaged them beyond repair so he signs instead. Despite his house in Suthorn, he travels often, aiding in Echo’s constant escapes from her duties as heir to the Hylian throne.

Echo— Echoes of Wisdom Zelda (she/her)

Princess of Hyrule, 18 years old, lesbian, right handed (left handed when using Phantom Link), Triforce of Wisdom

She started going by Echo when she was on the run during her quest. Now, whenever she feels the need to get away from her royal duties as ambassador the various settlements around Hyrule, she often runs away to the Gerudo Desert under her assumed name. She is very close with Rift, finding him to be one of the only people who could relate to what she went through. She also finds comfort in Dohna, who she’s in a relationship with. They are able to connect through their experiences as heirs to their respective thrones. Echo often takes Dohna on trips throughout Hyrule, escaping the pressures of royal life. They also spar together, helping Echo re-adjust to the tri-rod when Tri returns, and helping her hone her abilities with her Phantom Link form when she holds the Might Sword.

mirage is quickly becoming one of my favorites. i fully believe that she felt so at home during hytopia and often vacations there, with ravio as an enthusiastic participant because goddamn it he wants fun clothes too. debating making mirage, ravio, hilda, and zelda a polycule but haven't decided yet
