So, my dumbass self is criticizing myself for every mistake I’ve ever made to this day and age (even the ones when I was in Kindergarten...). This one is so hard to know! I would want to know the one thing I do that makes people the happiest, so I could try and be that person more often.

There are two quotes I try to live my life by. One of them has been misattributed to Albert Einstein, and there is some great further allegories with the same sentiment of this quote (or at least my interpretation of it):

“Everyone is a genius. Yet if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will spend its entire life believing it is stupid.”

I truly believe this. Having worked as a teacher in different environments and meeting so many different people when I travel - I cannot abide by the idea that anyone should think they are stupid. There are so many systems in place that tell us we are unworthy because we do not fit within their confines; more often than not, the we believe these structures. But you did not create these irrelevant tests and you should not take your worth from your ability to be marked against some trivial yard stick of accomplishment. Humanity and its ordeal are inexcusably individual and you should be deemed worth based on your unique skills, perspectives and experiences.
