They will just keep trying over and over until they succeed. I’m sure they are counting on it, eventually: maybe the next time the negative reaction won’t be that big or the culture they are attacking won’t be able to gather outside support, so they will successfully trademark a piece of that culture as their own product. Once it happens the first time, the next case will be easier, and the next one will be even easier, until Disney can just that shit.

That’s why we need to push back against this hard. Disney is definitely playing for the long run, they’ll keep trying to work different angles until they get their first win. So this wasn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last attempt.
