Any other spoonies have a cat that sits with them while they throw up? She really acts like it’s nbd
due to personal reasons i’ll be going back to sleep
Do not mistake me being dressed for being healthy.
Do not mistake me leaving the house for being well.
Do not presume to know how I am feeling just because I am continuing to live my life.
Anyone who wants to be an ally to the disabled and the chronically ill must support the technologies which make their lives better. You cannot support someone with chronic pain while also suggesting that all pain relievers are the work of the devil. You cannot support someone with diabetes while promoting politics that end the availability of insulin. You cannot claim solidarity with a group of people, while at the same time expressing politics that would literally kill them.
Support disabled people as they become more public with their disabilities.
You dont understand how hard it is for us to be open, how dangerous it can make social interaction or how quickly it can ruin our careers and put our lives at risk.
Support disabled people who are finally being open about their illness. Support disabled people who no longer hide their symptoms. Who take their meds in public, who use their mobility aids, who are talking about their illness in public.
We need to be there, we need to support them, we need to accept them and fight for them.
shout out to anyone having a flareup right now. i’m sorry you’re hurting. you’re stronger than you feel right now. go easy on yourself today. you deserve it.
“You look anxious”
Thanks it’s the anxiety
Tfw a doctor ghosts you
I swear to god if I ever see the doctor that ghosted me it’s going down on SITE😤
Honestly, if you don’t suffer from any kind of chronic pain, your opinions on opioids for pain relief are worthless and likely extremely ableist!
You know when you’re in so much pain.. you end up taking your frustrations out on other people.. and feel like crap afterwards.. it sucks
“I can’t fucking do this” - I mutter for the twentieth time as I continue to fucking do it
me: *eats anything*
my stomach: bitch you shouldn’t of done that ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º)
Honestly isolation is such a big issue for disabled and chronically ill people
It’s why the internet is so important to us
i want more disabled people in casual aesthetic photos
