Been sitting on this animation for a while, might finish it one day. Enjoy a *big,* happy, bounding Valstrax whose colors are unfinished. Character is Delta by @syntaxaero

I created an anthro Valstrax! With a cool scorpion tail because I thought it was cool!

Working in the animation industry has taken so much of my free time. However, I managed to use what little of it I had day by day chipping away at this beast of a project. It took from January up until June to finally finish this with 4 months alone spent on the sculpting! I’m looking forward to doing more even though they take so long to make!

It was an absolute blast working on #GuardiansoftheGalaxyVol3 ! Definitely one of the most fun and fulfilling projects I had the privilege to work on. I may be biased, but this is my favorite Phase 4-5 Marvel movie! Heh heh!

I’ll create a post chronicling the creation of this model at a later time. For now, these are some select renders I’ve done featuring him, I hope you enjoy! This is still an ongoing project and just to give a little background on the making of... the model was created in Maya, surfaced and textured in Substance Painter, the jet trail was created and rendered in Houdini, ocean sim done in Maya, the base animation was all rendered and lit using Redshift, then all put together in After Effects.

Recent art commission I completed for Agnaktor on Discord. No Clacks! Apparently this was a difficult fight in the older Monster Hunter games, but I haven’t had the (dis)pleasure. Was he really that bad?

This is the full painting of Triton I was noodling around with. I’ve chosen to pause this painting so I can focus on getting the design more to my liking.

This is a character I’m working on, his name is Triton and he’s an anthropomorphic Philippine Eagle. I’ve done a painting of him previously but I didn’t like the anatomy so this is a redraw of it.

Even still, I’ll likely continue to fiddle around with it cause I’m still not pleased with the result... yet I keep changing it cause I keep adding on moocles. I am not sorry.

Harpy character guy, he is all feathers and I love him for it. He doesn’t really have a name yet, he’s just kinda vibing y’know. I imagine all of your back and shoulder muscles would be sore from all the vibing.
