Well what’s the fucking point then
hands down there is nothing funnier to me than players making a separate strategy group chat without the DM to deal with the upcoming fights in your dnd campaign
my players are unionizing against me
Made a cute little comic on how to tell if Fe likes someone or not! He’s real bad at verbally showing it, so these are some surefire ways to know if he considers you a friend!

New to GMing? Wanna learn how to build compelling and engaging encounters?
In “Storytelling 101,” GM Connie discusses the fundamentals of narrative, breaking them down into three distinct parts, and offering suggestions about how best to design those parts — and put them together. They also discuss the classic trap of “story vs. situation” and which one you, as the GM, should prioritize.
Professor Chang’s Tabletop Workshop is a GM advice series flying under the Transplanar RPG banner. Transplanar’s main campaign is an ALL-TRANS, POC-led, 100% homebrew actual play set in a non-colonial, anti-orientalist world.
Follow us on Twitter, Instagram, and Youtube for funny clips, full campaign episodes, and archived Professor Chang’s lectures!
“Storytelling 101: Goal, Obstacle, Twist” drops THIS SATURDAY, August 1st, 2020, at 3pm CDT on Twitch!
This is happening TODAY 8/1/2020 at 1pm PDT, 3pm CDT, and 4pm EDT on Twitch!
Doors open 5 minutes prior. Be there or be square.
[Image ID: The Transplanar logo with “Going Live” over it. End ID.]
We’re going live! Join us in the waiting room on Twitch! The lecture runs from 3pm CDT until approximately 4:00/4:30pm.
In case you’re free right now and wanted to hear me rant about storytelling in TTRPGs! :>
to the casual observer it may look like i'm trying to summon a demon but anyone who knows me will realize that i am simply calling my wife
The wife and the demon are the same person
The fact that these replies would mean wildly different thing had they been said on a different platform, such as Facebook, is absolutely hilarious
me before getting to the end of this post
I have been successfully tempted once again. No promises for the future.

just adding on that orcpub is shutting down so be aware !
Did a survey on dndbeyond and I laughed out loud when I got to this one. Wizards of the Coast is pretty strict about where their IP ends up, and have taken down more than one very useful site over the years that hosts dnd content. I don’t know if anyone else is gonna take this survey, but this is good to know for the future: protect non licensed sites from take downs by not being a snitch, purposefully or accidentally.
i wish bards weren’t turned into the jokey silly class of thots, for zero reason other than the fact that i cannot comprehend them being able to cast power word kill
They can cast power word kill???
according to roll20 they can
pompous skinny human man in puffy pants: anyways heres wonderwall [strums lute]
enemy barbarian: [dies instantly]
Obviously Power Word Kill is just Vicious Mockery turned up to 11. You insult them so hard they just die on the spot.
then hecklers at my sold-out fiddle performance of the year better be ready for my dumb face to be the last thing they see before the force of me saying “suck my balls you motherfucker” shatters their skull on impact
