so glad you asked!!! my first ask, I'm excited! i haven't gone with the 100% anne rice type canon because i frankly don't understand how she chose the colors (some are enhanced human eye color, louis is green????) so i had to tweak it. i left neil's and kevin's eye colors the same as in the aftg books but enhanced to pay respects to the OG material. everyone who had "less-iconic" eyes got the color changed.
neil has craaazy blue eyes. one direction want to buy him sooo bad
kevin has Louis de Pointe du Lac type green eyes. not very original, but it'll do.
jean has a vivid teal because teal symbolises renewal which he gets after escaping the Nest (in my AU, he becomes a vampire right after he escapes.)
rico has a dark, red eyes; kind of like a scarlet color. his family all have the same colored eyes, and that shade of red is used to symbolise the family. in comparison, however, rico's eyes are darker than that particular shade. it is also the color of bloodlust (duh).
renee's eyes are yellow. since im a cornball and had to connect her to religion, the meaning of her eyes is connected to the bible. there, yellow is associated with purification.
