Played BG3 with my sisters today, and while I did have mods installed, I disabled all of them because one of my sisters was playing for the first time. So, no mods are active or enabled, but still installed, okay? Well, somehow, we're able to have more than 4 characters in our party (3 players, 3 companions), and I cannot find anything online about why this is happening---everything says it's impossible. Neither of my sisters received any pop ups about needing to install a mod or anything, and this is vanilla BG3.

Are we able to have one companion each in online multiplayer??? What's happening???

I fear the Adam Driver casting would be the wrong choice for Magneto. Everything I've seen him in, he lacks a certain presence that I think Magneto requires. I guess maybe I don't find him intimidating in the right way?

Now, I will admit, I was skeptical of the Fantastic Four casting, which turned out better than I thought. So, it's possible he could be amazing as Magneto, and history's repeating itself. 🤷‍♀️ But I'm leaning towards "not the best choice".

Now, I do see Patrick Wilson as Xavier a little more. But, lately, I fear Marvel's leaning into picking actors based on how well known they are rather than whether they're best suited for the role. There's a drought, it seems.

Rewatched X-Men: Apocalypse recently and it's a lot better than I remember, so obviously we should just pretend Dark Phoenix never happened and pick up from there, yeah?

Okay, I'm sure the new Avatar is a good movie, but I am genuinely not gonna see it in theaters because I'm pretty sure it's release is what pushed Hamnet out of my closest theater only 2 weeks after it's release 💔. My friend and I were planning on seeing it and it was gone 😔

DEAR PEOPLE LEARNING MATH!!!

THE "D" AND "M" IN PEMDAS ARE INTERCHANGEABLE. MEANING IT COULD BE PEDMAS, OR EVEN PEMDSA/PEDMSA.

Basically, it's parentheses, exponents, then whatever comes first in the math equation.

Does anyone else really hate the camera they've been using in some shows lately? Like the one they've been using in Criminal Minds: Evolution. I love that the show is back, but that camera makes me feel so disconnected from the show. Like, why are we not using up the whole screen??? And my dad's watching SEAL Team downstairs rn and it's got the same thing going on!!!

These are the only two I can think of, but there's something else I've seen that does this and I hate it!!! I feel so disconnected from the story to the point that I can't even fully articulate how it makes me feel. Is it uncanny???

Hopped back on the Marvel train recently, and Captain America: Brave New World is the same way. Thunderbolts a little too, but not as bad as BNW.
