I graduate college in April and I can't wait to end up making Sanders Sides Art Nouveau portraits with my newfound freedom

And suddenly I am making Ramen and there is a new episode of Sanders Sides.

But this time I am not in middle school, wondering if I'm gay.

I am not in high-school, knowing I'm queer and now knowing how to go about it.

I am in my final semester of my BFA, in a happy queer relationship, and pursuing new passions.

Thomas Sanders was my first exposure to the LGBTQ+ community. As a fellow anxious artist from Florida, thank you for being here.

I saw your Malevolent watercolor art, (at least I think it's watercolor) But I like to paint with watercolor and paints on occasion, but like that was SO GOOD, how do you paint like that?? Any tips?

Aw that's very sweet!

I've been drawing and painting basically since I could hold a pencil, so of course the biggest thing is practice (even though it can suck to hear, its the best way to improve)

With watercolor specifically, I will say that it doesn't always matter what paint you use (I used Crayola for YEARS), but what really can help your painting is to get a good watercolor paper.

Canson is a good brand for starting out, it's very widely available. If you want REALLY good paper and have the money for it, Arches Watercolor paper is very nice. I personally prefer the texture of cold press, but you can use hot press if you want it to be smooth.
