actually my list was too good to leave in the tags so heres a collection of my favorite r/nosleep stories. i’ve linked all of them in bold so you can immediately begin reading!

Borrasca. Arguably one of the most “the real monster was man all along” stories of all time, and genuinely fucked with me for a while after i listened to a narration of it. very worth it, if time consuming.

Penpal. FUCKED. WITH. ME. i love it so much. the idea of everything coming together in pieces, in tiny flashbacks and glimmers of time is very realistic, and is similar to how i piece together my own memories.

Ted The Caver. a classic! fucking delicious. if you’re new to r/nosleep, it’s originally a story from a site called Angelfire, waaaaaaaay back in the old internet days and is often regarded as one of, if not the first creepypasta. highly recommend!

The Showers. Delicious, juicy, and really fascinating. whats up with the title? you’ll see <3

Tales From the Gas Station is, to my knowledge, currently ongoing. it’s fucking amazing, and feels like Gravity Falls meets Harlan Ellison, if that makes any sense. its a beautifully written, hilarious, cynical story and i fell in love with it the moment i began listening to narrations of it. 

i’ll tack on more as i think of some, but i gotta go through my youtube history to find the ones i’ve listened to which will be a while. i prefer to listen to stories, which has created a bit of a tiny archive of my own.
