we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

#op I’m pretty sure aam recently came out with a report about a visitor study they did about trust and museums #and the results were basically that the vast majority of visitors don’t want museums to use ai for interpretation #there was a little bit of grumbly ‘I guess if it’s solving a problem like translating labels into my language then I’ll accept it’#but overall visitors felt like museums using ai would erode trust/their intellectual authority
