These Memorial Day BBQ Burgers are the perfect addition to your holiday weekend cookout. Juicy beef patties with a hint of smoky BBQ flavor, topped with cheddar cheese and your favorite fixings. Fire up the grill and celebrate!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup diced onion. 1/4 cup BBQ sauce. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices cheddar cheese. Lettuce leaves. Tomato slices. Pickles.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix ground beef, diced onion, BBQ sauce, salt, and black pepper. Shape the mixture into 4 burger patties. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare or longer for your preferred doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each burger patty and cover to melt the cheese. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute until lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by placing lettuce leaves, tomato slices, and pickles on the bottom bun, followed by the cheesy burger patty, and then the top bun. Serve hot and enjoy your Memorial Day BBQ Burgers!
