In Super Mario World, by having Mario collect a coin that Yoshi is in the process of licking before Yoshi can swallow it results in a variety of glitches, one category of which is unintended objects, like enemies, being saved in the item reserve box. One of the objects that can be saved this way is a Lakitu’s Cloud, which can then be spawned at any time the same way a regular reserve item would.

If the Lakitu’s Cloud is spawned during the final Bowser boss battle and Mario is riding it when Bowser is defeated, the following cutscene with Peach will be extremely long and consist of Peach and Mario rapidly switching directions as Mario very slowly descends in the cloud towards Peach.
