Polaris is held captive in the Shi’ar laboratory where the aliens had to knock her out with power dampeners and using drugs to put her to sleep. However, Polaris was too immune to the drugs in her body that she keeps waking up. Vulcan got too frustrated that he forces her back to sleep by knocking her out with a punch. Also, Vulcan looks like a creep.
