Hiya!!

I go by Mart, and I use she/they pronouns

Anything that I tag #starfeed is from my own noggin!! (Like the name of my blog! I don't want anyone to see it and think it's some crazy new thing in the Star Trek world, it's just me!)

My icon is by the lovely CircleToonsHD!! (He is not on Tumblr, but you can find him on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram quite easily!)

I don't have a real reason for the title. StarFeed sounds like Starfleet, except it's my feed of Star Trek content. 😂 And Spock Space just made me giggle. It has the same cadence as myspace, only cooler. 🥰 I promise to only use my tag for good!

I am young lady who loves Star Trek. My introduction to the world was the Alternate Original Series (AOS) and my heart and soul belong to it. I have a deep appreciation for The Original Series (TOS) as well! I'll post about both world interchangeably.

I'm a writer at heart and though I struggle to focus at times I do have one fic out there in the wild and a couple more that are in progress. Although none of my fanfics are set in the Star Trek world yet, I'm afraid!! (I'm a part of a lot of different fandoms, lol.) I try to draw sometimes and I only use pencil and paper as it stands. I love crafting and make a lot of my own earrings these days. I collect posts like I am a dragon and they are my hoard.

This blog is new, but I've been on tumblr in the past! That being said, I am still really learning the culture of the site and how everything works! I got yelled at once years ago because I reblogged something the OP didn't want reblogged and it honestly ruined the fun of tumblr for me for a long time. I didn't realize that was a thing back then and I immediately removed it upon being asked to! What I'm trying to say is, if I share something you didn't want me to or I doo something wrong, please just inform me and I will be more than happy to correct my error! I want this to be a nice space with good energy, so please keep that in mind! All I'm really asking is that you be a good human!

I'm always up for a good conversation, especially about my boy Spock. When I was making this blog my friend told me to, "Go out there and find your people, Mar!" So that's what I'm here to do. :)

Leonard Nimoy as a person exudes such an aura of elegance that trekkies ROUTINELY forget that Spock is the clumsiest motherfucker on that whole damn ship, zero competition. Have we as a nation already forgotten about that time he accidentally alerted the Romulans to the Enterprise's location by tripping and landing on his console?? My boy is tottering about like a baby deer who doesn't know how to use his legs yet at every hour of the day!

fics be like: Spock stepped gracefully from the shuttle, moving with careful precision. Not a single speck of dust dared to mar that flawless Vulcan composure.
