the thing that frustrates me about this is that we are not, in fact, all faggots in the eyes of the state. gay men are often welcomed into the Republican party. the leader of the fascist movement in Germany is a lesbian. trans men were specifically left out of the Supreme Court ruling on trans women in sports. I'm not saying that any of these groups (especially trans men) have it easy by any means, but to say that we all experience the same level of vitriol and repression is laughable.
