Right across from the Starwood Strand, on a sturdy outcropping overlooking the rocky waters below stands an ever-sprawling clan. Founded many years ago by a fire eyed Pearlcatcher and an Oracle of the Arcanist himself, the Clan of Concealed Ashes has steadily grown into something great. Many have come and gone over the years, numbers fluctuating as families settle or hatchlings grow up and leave. ∘∘∘∘∘ ∘∘∘ ∘∘∘∘∘ In more recent years, They've been on a steady upward climb, something which can be accredited to their wonderful Scout, Lilith. They've turned into quite the bustling clan, dragons of all flights and backgrounds coming together to join the fray. Everything's good these days- hatchlings are healthy, jobs are plentiful, and everyone's content with their lives here. lore idea: sornieth is tidally locked

why are sornieth's poles as climatically different as they are? the far north is a jungle and the far south is a tundra. they should get the same amount of insolation. what gives?

my theory is that sornieth is 1:1 tidally locked with its parent star, centered on the beacon of the radiant eye.

this theory would explain a lot of the placement of climates and regions. nature gets a lot of sun to fuel the plants, the arid biomes cluster in the areas around the middle latitudes and the humid biomes cluster in the middle latitudes, and the perpetual darkness regions are the coldest flight and the one that likes to look at the stars the most.

I've been hoping Flight Rising would add button eyes ever since the stitched/patchwork genes came out. I was really excited to see them for April Fools, although unfortunately I feel like the execution leaves a lot to be desired on most breeds... they look weirdly flat, and in many cases bigger than I think they really need to be. I decided to try my hand at redesigning them.

Unfortunately I think I just ended up making myself more wistful for what Could Have Been... ah well ^^;;
