Greetings to you, intrepid and valiant suckers who have decided to prove your horror mettle by taking… THE WEASELBONES CHALLENGE! Your task is to watch 13 scaaaary movies in the month of October, one for each letter in S.J. Weaselbones. For each movie there’s a rule that must be followed.
Some rules provide a list as a jumping off point. Only one rule requires you to pick from the provided list… you’ll know which.
S: Seek Wisdom
Ask an approved Wisdom Source™️ what the scariest movie ever made is, and then watch that. And don’t just find ‘em by posting on social media!
Approved Wisdom Sources include:
Your friend’s mom
Someone who takes pride in lawn maintenance
A flip phone user
A door-to-door salesman
Someone who can parallel park
Someone with zero unread emails
Someone who owns a complete set of measuring spoons
J: Jump the Shark
Watch the lowest rated movie (letterboxd score) in a franchise with at least five movies
W: Watch it Memento Style
Pick a horror movie you’ve never seen before, and experience it “Memento Style”. Start watching it 10 minutes from the end, then watch the previous ten minutes, working your way backwards in chunks until you’ve seen the whole movie.
E: Experience the Grain
Unlike me, film is not dead. Watch a movie shot on 16mm film (for extra cool points, pick one released in the last ten years.)

Finally got the month of July updated on the google calendar. I'm thinking that going forward I might take one day out of the month just to do a chill stream and plan out shit. Cause I had a lot of fun doing it last time on youtube.
